Meet Our Team

Pamela Collins is the Head of Pathfinder School and the visionary behind its founding. Her family’s journey through private, public, charter, and homeschooling options inspired her to create a place where children can truly take ownership of their learning. With years of leadership experience in school PTOs and homeschool co-ops, Pamela’s passion for nurturing independent, confident learners runs deep. She is also dedicated to her own personal growth, actively engaging in anti-racism and decolonizing work that shapes her thoughtful approach to education and community-building. When she’s not supporting Pathfinder students, you’ll often find Pamela relaxing on the porch watching hummingbirds, spending time with her mom and two amazing kids, or dreaming of her next beach getaway.
